Inside Manchester
Trip down to sunny Manchester today, as is clearly demonstrated by the picture above. The trip went well, it was just the kerfuffle that was unfolding in the office as my blackberry's battery was rapidly depleting. It's been showing 'Low Battery' since 11:30 this morning and with each passing email looking for an urgent answer I got nearer and nearer to falling off the grid.
Unfortunately, the bl**dy thing held out.
Weird thing about the trip was that I was bearly outside in Manchester. Exited Terminal 3, walked through the covered walkway to Terminal 1 then got in a lift up to level 7 and walked across the internal bridge to the station. From the station, we too the enclosed walkway to the Radisson at the airport - I is actually attached to the airport. Had the meeting there, then reverse trip back to Terminal 3.
Take that rainy Manchester.
In other news, I think this guy picked up our tiny (and overwhelmingly empty plane up) and threw it up to its cruising altitude. Seriously, that's what we flew back on, and it's not some illusion trick - it really is that small.
