Just a sunset....

I'm filling in a few gaps in my journal. Photos were taken but as yet I've not uploaded them. 

I'd taken my Aunt out for lunch today, so I opted for a late afternoon walk around Trentham Gardens instead of the morning. 

As I was leaving I spotted what I thought was a Little Egret. But something wasn't quite right about it. The beak. It was orange instead of black. It was in fact a Great Egret. Not something I'd seen before. It wasn't close enough to photograph but a pleasure to see.
