A day in the life of Malc

The Pole

Thursday 19th July, 22-50pm, loud noise outside.
Decide to investigate and find that a telegraph pole outside our house has been taken out by a stolen car being chased by the police.
The driver was going so fast he didn't make the bend and ploughed along the front of our house, took the pole down, crossed the road and hit a pick up.
By this time the air bag went off and driver kept going and ran in to a line of parked cars further down the road.
The driver gets out of the car and legs it across the fields and got away.
Next morning trying to call BT to report this, I'm through to MANILA for God's sake. We will put this right for you.
We will come on Saturday morning and restore service, it didn't happen.
Mumbai this time I think, so sorry we well come on Sunday to restore service, It didn't happen.
Called again, I didn't bother to ask her location, it will be Monday now.
Monday came and went so did Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
They arrived Friday morning, service restored mid afternoon.
I have been without service for a week, not able to run my businesses.
BT are a bloody disgrace, they make it so difficult to get through to the right people, you tend to give up, which is, of course what they want.
They have taken their last shekel  from me.
I shall be moving all my business from them ASAP.
I don't expect they will give a shit.
That's it, rant over, do I feel better, NO.
