aerial roots!

I did a little more reading about our orchids. We have vanda orchids which are considered epiphytes - plants that grow anchored to other plants, or in our case, a small basket. They absorb their water and nutrients from the rain, air, and other debris. They have aerial roots, which you can see much better in this collage than the extra photo in my blip the other day.
