Generator

The University of Birmingham has been in an unprecedented situation over the last few days. On Tuesday evening, a 132kVA cable exploded setting fire to it and another cable. These were the main supply cables to the University and since then the University has been running off emergency generators. It may take up to two weeks for the cable to be replaced, but in the meantime there are a dozen or so of high capacity generators plugged into our substations!
