Afternoon tea

My Christmas present from #3 son was afternoon tea at Carberry Tower. We have had 3 goes at getting a date. The first two, on warm sunny Sundays, were cancelled. Today it was cold and wet but we had a great afternoon, and absolute sugar overload. Carberry is beautiful, well restored and a place I'd like to return to. I never went there when it was owned by the C of S but I think mum did. Despite the rain we had a walk round the garden. Would have been good to sit in the sun. Not to be.

Earlier I tidied out the front room and made it 'child proof'. And now I have a TV in my room.

And it rained, a lot, today.
