Sitting Still for a Change!

I don't know why but this Black Capped Chickadee sat for awhile on one of the perches I placed in my flower pots; it is unusual, they are usually flying quickly into and out of the feeders. We have a whole family hanging around and we enjoy seeing them every day.

After church we went to a few open houses in the area because we are again thinking about downsizing. We didn't see anything we even liked a little. If I continue to simplify my big yard, we may be able to "age in place" here. Every once in awhile we get a little overwhelmed and start thinking about a smaller place.  :-)) 

I spent a couple hours in the yard after it cooled off a little. I was adjusting my sprinkler system so I simply stood in the spray once in awhile and with wet clothes I was a lot cooler.  Then I continued my pruning and editing.

Tonight I am sitting here in front of the fan and it is lovely.
