A wee hike...

...round Devilla Forest this afternoon. Wandered these trails on a number of occasions but found a route on-line that took us right round the forest and to each of the four lochs within it. 10km all in.

Parkrun earlier in the day with the Buncle and the Fangler. That big boy needs to move more...he’s a physical wreck almost with all that lazing about and Xbox gaming he does...he’s been warned that is going to change next week. The wee fella shaved another few seconds off his time this week...going for sub 31 minutes next week ;-)

Home and an easy tea of shop bought pizza, salad, a wee glass of wine and a movie. Jackie was tonight’s showing. I enjoyed it, liked how it had been shot and the discordant music throughout that helped portray the turmoil of her thoughts and emotions in those first few days after her husband was assassinated.

Wee text from our boy in Ireland just before I hit the pillow. First text from him since he’s been away but been kept up to date with his itinerary via the Scout social media pages. He seemed in good spirits.

Grateful for a lovely Saturday topped off with some direct communication with that Rooster :-)
