No.11: Peacock

The weather was better today, although still somewhat blustery, so I timed my run carefully to hit the 2 hour slot when the day was at its warmest, but before any threatened rain arrived. I returned to the spot where I photographed the Meadow Brown, and was surprised to find it alive with butterflies - including 4 I haven't yet got in my challenge so far. One (Small Tortoiseshell) eluded my camera; I had a choice to make between the other 3 so I've gone for this one and put another (Green-veined White)  in extras so I might be able to do a sleight of hand if it turns out I've chosen the wrong one. The third, a Small White, will, I hope continue to be around for some time yet.
