Long day travelling

I got to bed just after midnight and the alarms went off at 2.15am, but I had already been rudely awakened by Tommy the cat, who, being alarmed by the packed suitcases, had hidden upstairs and found himself caught short. He needed to get out. :-)

2.15am we all fell out of bed.
2.45am we all piled into the car.
3.45am we filed into a park and fly office
4.10am we piled into another car.
4.30am we filed into Heathrow airport.
6.30am we sat down in the airplane.
12.25pm local time, we touched down in Istanbul. (There’s a 2 hour time difference)
1.30pm we finally had our visas approved.
We met our friend Ali and piled into one of his company ‘minibuses’.
We all got out, ate and visited his offices and then we all got in again.
3.45pm we set off for our 1st destination, a 4-day hotel stop.
At some point we got on a car ferry.
11pm we arrived !!!!!!!!
We slept.
