Covered in bees

Late alliums at the allotment today were abuzz with bees and other beasties! We were in harvesting mode too before we head off on our travels - rhubarb, blackberries, strawberries, gooseberries on the fruit front and rocket, courgettes, carrots and peas on the veggie one. The rain this week followed by warm days had caused a growth explosion!  Lola and Louie were helping and were rewarded with an ice-cream and hour or so in the park - see the extra shot.
