Pavement Plaque

Seen on a pavement on Grainger Street, Newcastle.  Apparently there are four of the bronze plaques at different locations on Grainger Street and they are part of an Arts Project to celebrate ordinary people.  They were installed in 2004.  Another one says 'Ann Huxtable waited here for a friend who did not arrive on December, 8, 1952.'
