Low Hanging Fruit

Usually when we are away on holiday for a few weeks or more, we come back to a lawn with several inches of grass, but this is the first time I can recall it having hardly grown! I guess usually it pours down in summer...

What has grown though is our apples, and this one branch had about 15 apples and was straining under the weight, other branches maybe had about 5. Mrs C picked some later to allow it to return to a more normal position - without apples it is usually vertical!
