Rose

One thing you get to see, when up early milking, is the sun rising, and this morning's sunrise was gorgeous. Unfortunately I only had my iPhone with me, and this didn't really catch the true colours of the sunrise. Tomorrow morning when I go to milk, I am going to take my camera - just in case!

As the saying goes 'Red sky in the morning, Shepherds warning', meaning it should have rained today. But instead we had a brilliantly fine day. So much for these old phases - I blame it on global warming!

Anyway, enough of the weather. I wandered the garden today, and noticed this lovely yellow rose had opened. It has a red tinge to it, and smells beautiful.
