Company's Coming

My one desire for this day of no work, in addition to being grateful for those who have served our country, was to organize 17 years of accumulated data that I had in 2 notebooks. It seems simple, but the data was repeated and somewhat complicated, so I just kept accumulating it and had never sorted it. Finally, with the support of my sweetie, it is organized and ready to be much more useful! Yippee!!!

Late in the afternoon, we invited our neighbors (Dad and Mom~grammapat) to come on over (lower left of pic) and share the sweetheart cake that we had won from K-Light radio for our anniversary. It has been patiently waiting to be eaten in our freezer. Yum!

I love cozy days like today. Something I love about living on the coast of Oregon is how green the Winters are. Late Summer..not so much, but as soon as we get a little rain everything comes to life. While living in Illinois, Winter became the brown season. Just the opposite from here.
