Just another day in the life

Almost unbearably hot again today, but that made it all the more pleasurable to sit in the square late into the evening around an array of contributions from various neighbours -- food, wine, and music. Once again S and I had gone out with a bottle of rosé and some nibbles to see what happened. More chairs and a table had to be fetched. Passers-by paused to join in on their way elsewhere. As it grew dark and a light breeze arose, it was just perfect listening to the softly strummed guitar (the accordion, found in the attic of the chateau, didn't actually get played).
