Today was a day of persistent rain, a bit of a relief from the last few weeks of wall-to-wall sunshine, and most welcome to gardeners everywhere. However, it did mean that I didn't manage to get out and about with the camera.  I did manage to find some ripening tomatoes for tea which posed nicely for me as an EB.  Unfortunately, this particular ripe speciman was suffering from blossom end rot; a calcium deficiency caused by too little/infrequent watering - I guess there may be a lot of gardens suffering from that this year!
