Rigging
A long day up at Port Edgar - and the mast went up without a hitch. Well, I say without a hitch - the back stay lug thing wouldn’t fit the bracket thing (it’s new). Awkward! Roger arrived to spectate just at that moment. Still, we rigged up a temporary arrangement and we trotted off to the friendly fabricator workshop where they proceeded to grind it down.
So, a bit later than planned, it was all tickety boo and I got the running rigging and sails on. What a lot of work. I tell you, this boat better float. And be fun.
Home to immerse myself in some muscle relaxant bath (a hoax I know) and a relaxing evening with a dip into Middleman’s suggestion of Jinx. Rather promising. And the quiche was terrific!
