A wee dram

So - no photos yesterday as I was inside all day at a rather excellent conference. I should have gone out with the camera at night, but was too exhausted.

Today was me mooching around the lovely Edinburgh, being a tourist. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour at the Scotch Whisky Experience although 11.30am was a bit on the early side to be enjoying a dram of Ardbeg...

I did a really touristy thing in the evening when I went on a late night "ghost" tour of the Blair Street vaults - fascinating and not somewhere I'd fancy wandering around on my own.

Tough choice for photos, as you'd expect from a day around Edinburgh. Some are on flickr and I've gone with this one showing just part of the world's largest collection of whisky. Beautifully displayed, no duplicates, none opened.
