Hydrangea

We went for a walk in a local wood which has been partly landscaped, and saw this lovely hydrangea. It's very unusual here to see them blue in the 'wild', but this one must be in the right spot for that. Some others a little way off had a slightly pinker tinge to the blue. In the shade of the wood the ravages of the drought seemed to have had a less drastic effect than elsewhere, although the stream was running very low of course.

The extra shows some lilies that had been planted along one of the rides through the wood.
