Tiger moth.

Spotted this from the kitchen window so crept out hoping it hadn’t flown away. Looking up to see what it was called, it appears they were quite a rare find in these parts only a few years back.

Extra of his bottom where you can see the paper thin folds of his wings.

Another day of painting;-/ the hallway is such a mammoth task. I will try and stop grumping and just get on with it! ;-D
