Painter in Residence

We have had a lovely day today. We met Wendy (aka Viewpoint) and Ann in Helmsley. After coffee (and cake for some) and a chat we walked to the walled garden which is always worth a visit. The herbaceous borders are still looking great despite this summer's hot sun and the wind and rain last weekend.  We chatted to the lady for a while and at one time she looked at us and gave us a lovely smile but I preferred this view where she is surrounded by the flowers.
