Large Skipper

I found this Skipper in the usual place at the nature reserve; I've fallen in love with these small butterflies and can't resist their big dark eyes.  I had to do some shopping this morning and then we met up with my brother in law for lunch; my nephew and partner are in Scotland so BIL is home alone - alone but not deserted.  Out with us today,  out with my younger brother and his wife on Friday and his Granddaughter took him out yesterday.  If he was thinking about having some quiet time while his son is away he obviously got that one wrong.
