Kobarid, Slovenia

Spending the night here. During the Great War here was one of the frontlines, many battles fought.  Ernest Hemmingway served in the ambulance during the end of the war in that front, and wrote his novel "Farewell to arms" here in this village. They say. I find it charming anyway.
