Playing with Fish

Today was a Torran Tuesday and it was time for an outing.  His sporadic horticultural education was resumed with a visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.  He arrived after a car sleep and fairly grumpy.  His grumpiness dissolved over lunch so on we went to the greenhouses or the 'jungle' as it became known.
And there ponds but without stones to throw in which was somewhat of a relief.  But there were fish in them to tease.  He had a wonderful time.
We also took in the 'Lost Words' exhibition which was excellent and highly recommended.
