Late evening

This little arrangment of flowers on the landing windowsill looked lovely in the evening sunshine today.  It has been a beautiful summers day and l am feeling better after a seriously good nights sleep last night.  I think the last few weeks of broken, hot sleep had taken its toll and last night l just had a good catch up!! 
The brother of our neighbour who died earlier in the year came round today to say the house has been sold and completion is tomorrow.. we wait with bated breath to find out more about the future of the little cottage.  I am hoping for a quiet but friendly neighbour with only one car... we will see!
