Redhill aerodrome....

Gail's chemotherapy was earlier today which meant we had more time to play afterwards.

She has introduced me to many new venues over these last months; Gail living in Surrey and me in Kent. Absolutely no reason why this should make any difference but it's interesting how we can tend to stick with what and where we know...

This small aerodrome was perfect for our lunch stop. It was quiet but with enough activity to keep us/me fascinated. Several helicopters coming and going and small planes taking off and landing... not always looking terribly stable! Looking at their website there's lots that we didn't look at so I'll take D for a return visit soon. 

Great lunch menu too. The venue;  Pilot's Hub hanger 9. And for those so inclined, there are various flying experiences on offer.
