After the rain

Due to lead a walk with the Ramblers on Tuesday, but not particularly inclined to do the recce in the torrential rain we've been having over the past few days. Things brightened up a bit later on Sunday afternoon, so off I went.

It was only a local walk, and a relatively short one around Camelon and Carron, however about 20 minutes in and the heavens opened. Such is life!

Undeterred, I continued on and the rain alternated between showers and downpours for the rest of my walk. Thankfully, with a couple of miles or so to go, the rain eased off and the sun actually made an appearance before setting about 30 minutes later. This shot was taken as the sun was setting and while everything (including me) was still a bit damp after the downpours.
