grand kids time

today was the Natural History Museum. We had booked the exhibition of the dark to avoid the queues. What questions they all asked  For the first time ever there was no queue to go in and no bag check.

It was a fantastic day made all the more interesting by an elderly lady whom I got talking to. She got the law changed after her daughter was killed by a learner driver at 17 and along with others got Pass Plus introduced. New drivers are no longer able to sit next to a Learner until they have held a driving licence for 3 years. Her daughter was a passenger in the car and the learner ignored instruction from the new driver and went too fast. Both girls died.
On arriving home we had to take Izzy to the walk in centre as she has earache on and off for about a week. They gave her spray and said it was swimmers ear. She probably picked it up from the local pool last week  which doesn't surprise me.
