Common Blue
I was introduced to the RPB Nature Reserve at Pulborough Brooks, West Sussex by friend and colleague Paul Knowles, but this was only my second visit. With the weather heating up again, and the wetlands looking rather dry, there were few birds that I could see (though there was plenty of birdsong in the trees), but the butterflies were out in force.
This was literally the last shot of the day; a Common Blue enjoying what I believe is the nectar of a Common Fleabane. So 2 challenges achieved today: Wildflower Week set by Miranda1008 and Wild Wednesday by Cailleach
