After thirty very happy years of marriage I have learn't that when I come home and see this then it is a sign for me to shut up, sneak through the house and hide as this is the thing my dearest hates doing the most.

Give it a couple of hours and maybe I might pluck up the courage to speak but not sure if that will work if she reads this.
