Stepping out

I had an extra hour in bed this morning-after my hectic full day yesterday. I walked into the kitchen and there it was. The sun just hitting the window and the honeysuckle leaves casting a shadow - the ducks I have painted onto the blind some twelve years ago-when we redid the kitchen. It was my duck period.
