Wild Blackberries
I saw these Blackberries when I was out today and thought they looked striking, however from past experience I never think the wild variety have such a good flavour. I didn't see anything spectacular today but another photographer I met did, and she certainly has a knack for understatement. I asked her if she'd seen anything special or unusual and she told me "no, only a couple of Kingfishers fishing off the weir". I nearly set off at a run but she stopped me and said they'd gone now, flown away down river. I hadn't realised they went up to the weir so I'll look more carefully next time I'm up that way.
Deborah left for home this morning and will be going out to Latin American dancing this evening; I well remember when I could dance the night away but she seems to dance every night away - I think I'm a little bit envious. :-))
I'm tagging this for Miranda1008 wild flower challenge, I hope wild fruit qualifies.
