New Forest Ponies

We decided to stay over in the New Forest seeing as we had taken the campervan with us. 

The ground is incredibly dry at the moment and these horses/ponies were having to look hard for water to drink.  This watering hole at Aldridge Hill is normally full to overflowing but there's only a bit of fairly rancid looking water in there at the moment.  They didn't drink much of it. It must have tasted foul!
Wish we could have stayed longer but camera club commitments meant we had to go back home boooo!
