framing

Emma Davies asked us to do 30 days of composition - I am glad for the prompts.  TOday was framing

We toured University of Virginia today - Daughter liked it very much but is rather intimidated by the GPA requirement.  I hope she applies anyway - you never know.  Anyway - it is near the top of her favorites.

I had expected to be able to take LOTS of gorgeous "framed" shots since the campus (or grounds ) are FULL of lovely arched colonnades... the architecture is really beautiful.  However, today it rained buckets.  I'm not kidding.  truly a washout.

So here at home I gave it a try - not sure it really helped the composition - but I'm going to really try all month and I hate to give up this early on.
