A Night At The Museum

It was a night with children’s book author and illustrator Tomie DePaola. He’s from New Hampshire and I have no clue how popular his books are elsewhere, I know they were popular with my children. He’s written 260 books and his latest is due out in October. He’s in his 80s and so full of life and enthusiasm. A delight to listen to. His art is in the lower right corner.

The other  prints are from another illustrator named  Beth Krommes. There was a guided tour of some of their work and some background information on how each artist goes through the process of their work. I was amazed that one book could take up to 2 years start to finish.
