Four of the city centre seven bridges that link Newcastle and Gateshead across the Tyne: High Level, Swing, Tyne and Millennium.

This time last year, I was a short way down river, looking back at five.

In June, I was on the High Level, making the most of the shadows.

The Northern Rail "Sprinter" on top of the bridge brings back memories of eight years worth of daily commutes to Sunderland on that very train.
