Coming out of the water

to dry those wings. A lovely morning spent with Kiwianna - very unsuccessful in terms of finding birds but lovely out walking and chatting non the less. Where the birds had all gone to I have no idea. None at the usual places, the estuary edge, the spit, in fact apart from a few distant gulls these 2 shags were the only birds we saw. Another day!

We ended up going to look for butterflies, which were a little more cooperative, although even they weren't where they usually are.
