Outside the House

Lovely leaves - too pretty to sweep up (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

BIG highlight of the day was receiving a long newsy letter & photos from an old friend in New Zealand. Seemingly she was inspired to write by my daily blips - I am so pleased :-)

We met as footloose and fancy-free 20-somethings backpacking around Australia, and then we both lived for a while in London sharing the city experience! Now 25 years on we have families and are stuck with our various commitments and constraints at opposite sides of the world!

But it is heartwarming to hear your news Carolyn, really really made my day.
