Threat

The threat is that it is going to be even hotter tomorrow and as you can see from this shot taken by the side of Dorchester By-Pass the fields are tinder dry. Our long dog walk today nearly defeated us. We were both rescued from heat exhaustion when I knocked on the door of a complete stranger and asked for water.
The blackcurrant jam completed today took three and a half hours. One hour to pick, two hours to snip and half an hour to cook. Happy to report it might be my best jam ever!
