Ceridwen hits the road again

Our first trip away in the new-to-us Hymer. We all went: The Driver, Myself, Nell the Border Collie, Dusty the tabby kitten, and Ceridwen the mascot.

We travelled less than 10k, to stay on an Aire de Camping Cars at nearby Adriers.  It turned out to be an excellent choice and had the weather not been quite so viciously hot, we would have stayed longer. Adriers offers a 12th C fortified church, 4 circular walking routes straight out of the village, with more further afield, 2 bars and a Plan d'Eau. 
The Plan d'Eau is adjacent to the camping car aire, and offers a circular walk around the water, fishing, picnic and play areas and ... free swimming!


Swimming is permitted in July and August but when we arrived we found a notice prohibiting this activity due to the poor water quality tested in June. We were sad.  But navigate to tomorrow's blip to see what happened!
