At Melita Well

...in the shadowy woods near Streuobstwiesen, a much loved* walking destination, 35 min. from our home. Named after Princess Melita Victoria in 1894, her name still shows on the wellhead, whereas it was erased on all other places around, after divorce of the royal couple in 1901.
