Riley a day after his Operation

Riley had his operation to fit a pin held with wire on his broken leg, yesterday afternoon.

He came home last evening very sleepy.

This morning he was not happy to have to stay in his cage. He has calmed down now and I think resigned to having to be there. 

He has to be cage for 4 weeks for his leg to heal. 

It is very hard for us to see him here but we know this is the only way to stop him harming himself and for his leg to mend.

We go to see the Vet this afternoon as he wants to look at the wound and dressing. The Vet was very pleased with Riley and how the op went.
