London with friends

Today Ali, Jo and I got up early and headed for London on the train. We had a lovely day chatting, eating, walking and taking in the many sights, sounds and aromas of London. The weather was boiling hot and the Underground was stifling too but we had a whistlestop walk around two museums; we walked by the Thames; had brunch in Covent Garden; did some shopping and we also saw a bit of Harrods. It was a really busy day and one we're hoping to repeat next year as we've already started to compile a list of places to visit.
