White Budleia ?

This plant is a bit of a mystery.  It was bought as a white buddleia, but now that it has got it's first flower spike it is so obviously not white.  We thought it has been wrongly labelled, but we have never seen a hairy buddleia before.  So I am wondering whether it is not a buddleia at all, but a mystery plant.  I am hoping one of you flower experts out there can solve it for us.
