Wee Places

I just love little villages and their old churches. Back in 1777 the people of Metsämaa started to build this church without the authorization of bishops and popes. Two hundred years later the population had shrunk so much the municipality had to be annexed to its larger neighbour.

I'll be riding around, looking for places like this until Monday. Aapo and other cats will be back.
