The New Bike

It has been a long project and even longer to get it on the road, but the wait has paid off.  It rides sweet!  Steel Is Real!  Very silky feeling on the road, very nimble and very comfortable. This bike is going to be one of the greats!!

Still some issues to work through with the Rohloff hub grinding in the first 7 gears. 8th-14th magic.  Not sure what's up with that.  I've read on the internet that it isn't uncommon and may require sending it back to Rohloff for inspection.  The front hub is dragging a bit - not sure if the disc brake or the fact that I haven’t wired the dynamo yet.  Eventually I will change the shifter cables to get a snappier response.  All in all, a great start - finally!!!

Time to clean off all the green goo from my tubeless tire adventures.  New valve stems and cleaned the drill burrs, a clean tape job and new "tubeless" tires seem to have done the trick.
