The trains weren't running for a while this afternoon so I caught a bus to the care home, which was extremely hot and sticky. When I take Jeanie outside she is always fascinated by the aeroplanes, especially the little ones that fly from White Waltham. It was extremely hot this afternoon, so I had to keep her in the shade. Richard, one of the carers brought out tea and cake, Dutch apple cake today which as always was lovely, although Jeanie picked out all the dried fruit.
I was going to get the bus home and walked on to a different stop, but that one was closed due to road works, so I decided to get the train home instead, and ended up on the same one as H.
Home to decorate a cake.
