red roses...

growing in wild abandon

but not actually wild - i found them on a bush - they reminded me of the roses i used - to have at a house where i once used to live - there were a plethora of rose bushes there - surrounding the house and - i couldn't wait for summer months - when they'd all be in full bloom - this bush was smaller - and appeared a bit forlorn

i'm certain due to the recent - storms we've had which left - behind hail, wind and pounding torrents of water - nature's own elements are sometimes brutal - yet i believe add character - as well as extra beauty to an already - beautiful blossom in a red rose - enough in my mind to lead to...
