Rutland Water, late afternoon, and the cormorants have clearly had their fill of feeding and are resting.  Their wings must be dry as well, as they not hung out sideways.

A recent hiatus has been the result of a "48-hour" gastro attack, although it has lasted a little longer.  As luck would have it, two small people were staying with us at the time and they suffered similarly.  Hang on, perhaps they brought it to the household . . .
